@surojeetchatterji9966 Magadh capital was Pataliputra , near modern day Patna and Vishnugupta acharya found chandragupta playing as a king settling dispute between other boys in the outskirt nearby villages of the capital of maghada - i.e. pataliputra. That is not modern eastern UP but is bihar.

@surojeetchatterji9966 UP has its own history which is also old, same for bengal... similarly Bihar has its own history and was one of the important centre of Independence movement and nationalism before 1857 first war of independence. Current state of behare is due to forced famine , colonialism and mismanagement after independence. If you want to hate bihar and biharis i cannot stop you. I dont think any true Indian will blindly hate any region or people of that region simply for being born there...
