  4.  @jishrayto4817  1) family of police can and may go to court. But i believe that the injury sustained by an officer in duty becomes the responsibility of the state and not private citizens. Their petition might not be entertained insofar as any damage done to police is concerned. If their private property was damage then their petition wont be dismissed. So family can go but such petitions are more likely to be dismissed. 2) anyone can protest against any inconvenience caused by any large group of people. Thats within the constitutional rights guaranteed by the state. Why are you so worked up then about the families of the police protesting? I believe these families too lice in delhi and would qualify as locals. Why is it that you are unable to acknowledge the right of the families to protest? Do they lose constitutional rights because some relative is in police force? Are they second class citizens according to you? 3) which developed country are you referring to? Are you referring to UK where the police overlooked "grooming gangs" of muslim immigrants because of political pressure? https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-south-yorkshire-28951612 Or are you talking about the United States of America where looting and riots from Black Lives Matter and antifa saw no opposition from the authorities? https://nypost.com/2021/01/21/biden-and-cops-wont-stop-them-until-portland-is-burned-down/amp/#aoh=16121044849335&_ct=1612104557187&csi=1&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&_tf=From%20%251%24s
