You should talk to someone who was born and brought up in south India to know the reality. For example, any politically aware unbiased person would tell you that in a state like kerala, both the LDF and the UDF have their own goondas and mafias running different businesses.

In kerala we have sand mafia stealing thorium rich sand, land mafia hogging on prime real estate in ecologically sensitive regions, etc. Which of these sectors is yogi a mafia in? Or is it just that he has his own set of followera that are willing to defend those who need help?
