Comments by "suraj s" (@surajs5913) on "Stalin, KTR find delimitation discriminatory against Southern states. How valid are their concerns?" video.
Not doing delimitation based solely on population goes against the fundamental democratic principle of one person one vote and equality of the value of each vote of every citizen of India. There is no discrimination of south states - even now southern states individually have less say in national politics because the southern parties are content to isolate themselves in their strongholds rather than expand to the rest of India - best example is dmk which talks about dravidian model but doesnt care to seriously compete in any other state. The Indian voter should not be made to suffer for the foolishness of regional parties of southern India.

@mikevelu4326 most south Indians including myself will oppose that move tooth and nail - independence was not attained 75 years ago to allow balkanisation of India to satisfy the political ambitions of political parties like the dmk - whose ideological figurehead periyar wanted a seperate dravidistan and thought all non tamils, even malayalis , were of inferior lineage...

@suryavenkatesan9998 i cannot fathom how you think murdering the fundamental principle of representative democracy will help in the betterment of the nation. I am appalled at how you use arguments of a diverse nation to treat some people like second class citizens who have less voti g power than you have. I am amazed how arguments of diversity can be used to nullify the basic idea of equality of individual political power and the concept of one person one vote one value. Suggesting that there be more checks and balances through restructuring the rajya sabha seat allocation is one thing but those who oppose delimitation in changing seat structure of lok sabha are the opponebts of fundamentals of democratic principles that sit at the core of the basic structure of the republic of India.
