@okeng71487 southern states bringing more tax revenue does not mean the wealth comes solely from southern states - TVS is headquartered in Chennai but the tax they pay in their corporate office is from the profit they earn from selling all across the nation ( Basic logic would auggest that a state with more population would have higher sales number and therefore generate higher profit to TVS thereby contributing to a higher portion of the tax remitted by TVS in their corporate office in Chennai). So bringing in the argument of tax revenue to the issue of delimitation is a flawed argument in the debate. The above logic is also the reason why capital cities like hyderabad contribute so much to the gdp of their respective state (telengana) so such argument of tax revenue are made with incomplete knowledge of how taxation works...

@sourabhdubey1244 so you are basically saying that giving dignity to the vote of every person in India despite their social or economic status is foolish - i.e. the concept of one person one vote one value is foolish? Can the same logic be applied usimg population growth data based on caste or religion?

@sourabhdubey1244 bro you talked about resource allocation and to my understanding money is the resource that all states fight over.

@sourabhdubey1244 bro delimitation meaning is the division of geographical limits of electorates to ensure that every electorate has approximately the same number of voter. Currently the average MP from kerala represents approx 17 lakh citizens of India while average MP from kerala represent approx 29 lakh citizens of India. Delimitation meaning in english is fixing of boundaries and in Indian political context is fixinf og boundaries of electorates so that the average MP from kerala represents the similar number of people as the average MP from UP. Try to understand the issue using basic arithematic before you start using words out of context bro..

@okeng71487 do break UP and bihar into more states bro, then they will have more votes in GST council and more say in constitutional amendment that deal with federal structure. Then you can cry about how you were cheated bro, despite it being your own foolishness that led to this situation. Political parties will find it hard to win 4 states instead of 1 megastate of UP but hindutva is here to stay bro and you cannot simply politically demean the more populous regions of UP to help consolidate the political pwer of the ideologies you support BRO!
