  1. Like most parts of London Hackney has gentrified parts surrounded by rough estates. Those people in the rough estates have been there far longer than Tarquin & Olivia who have now pushed most people out and thus you are left with the have’s & have not’s. Those trendy people were nowhere to be seen 20 years ago, now they are the only ones who can afford the 800k plus you need to buy a gaff round there.

  3.  @raymondhill8973  I’m also old enough to remember who sold off a large chunk of our council houses,who was responsible for joining the EU, the ECHR, the introduction of PFI and the sell off of the NHS, the sales of arms to the saudis, the sell off of 51% of Londons big hotels, premium houses, barracks, and airports to the Qataris, and who were responsible for giving the village idiots a chance to vote for a referendum that was so damaging to the Country that it will be decades before we recover from it and guess what? It’s all Tory.

  23.  @newblackdog7827  Trains are running 19th to 23rd, the only day that's affected is Christmas eve but anyone travelling on that day is a bit of a wally, normally the same people that want to stand outside Next at 5am on Boxing day to get a pair of pants at half price. As for losing jobs I'm not sure why you think that's funny. Did you vote for Brexit then clap and cheer the 260 that lost their jobs at the Passport printing company after the patriotic Tories gave the contract away to the French? If they sack train drivers then you won't have any rail at all as it takes up to 12 months to qualify.
