Unaffordable housing was caused by the Milk snatcher selling off most of the council stock at reduced rates and it was the Tories that continued the trend for low pay, one reason the hardcore wanted out of the EU so they could rip up the rules for the WTD. Like it or not, without immigration a lot of jobs won't get done. Brits won't get out of bed to pick fruit or clean trains at night. On my summer holidays in the Lake District last year many pubs and restaurants were closing at 8pm due to lack of staffing and low supplies. So in your world are businesses supposed to close down our close early and lose money because they can't get any staff to work for them? The knock on effect is huge but the myopic brexit supporters think they are being patriotic. Quite the opposite 101.

@TheStarBlack I know. Wayne and Dave with their 2 GCSEs in Woodwork and car mechanics are just waiting for the call up from the NHS for the large amount of cardiologists vacancies.

Hasn't worked out though has it? All that's happened is that people have lost jobs with their companies moving to the EU. Prices sky high with all the extra red tape of imports and exports, 4% added to inflation figures, our pound constantly crashing to record lows, more immigrants than ever coming over in small boats now we don't have any rights to send them back to the first safe country etc etc. Do you feel more sovereign? I don't, as anyone who has links from Ireland, settled status or dual nationality have more rights than those of us born n bred here. 👏
