@samfcch7898 No fella. The only difference is that this is the UK and not Germany. This government can't organise a piss up in a garden properly. X rail - nearly 5 years behind and well over budget. It may happen eventually but not for at least 20 years. Deep level tube train in August heat at rush hour that sits down without a driver. How would you get 1300 people off with 750v dc on the tracks and no one to take charge?

@firstname4865 They aren't in the UK. A member of station staff has no say whatsover in how a train runs to time. The driver of said train only is in charge of running the train and isn't in charge of operating problems. They only act on instruction from the controller. Are we getting there?

Yes. Takes up to 12 months to fully qualify to be a driver. Obviously you've not worked on the railways.
