@karenhill3161 If the Tories were in charge you’d be working until you are 70. If reform gets in then unless you can afford private health insurance you will working until you drop. Either way women shouldn’t get to retire before men especially as you live longer, in fact it should be the other way around - women 66 and men 60.

⁠@joebloggs1271Read my comment again joe. I said self employed pay fkall into the system. National insurance contributions are peanuts compared to someone on PAYE. I didn’t mention tax but let’s be honest, with a good accountant you can get away with murder. Look at all the “patriots” that tell you one thing then avoid paying tax at every opportunity. I know lots of people that seemingly have a grand life yet have nothing in their company bank accounts who then moan about everyone else milking the system.

And quite right too. Why should women get their pension years before men, imagine if it were the other way round? It would never happen. What’s next Andy? Complain about how low the state pension is - you can’t take out what’s not paid in, hence our state pensions are the lowest in Europe ably assisted by the self employed who pay fkall into the system.

@InterGalacticTouringBand Not in my house. I wouldn’t put up with a woman who sits on her backside all day like some of my neighbours do. She’s out grafting the same as me.

@DeeFay-fl1hs A year is better than none. Maybe men should be able to retire at 60 and women work until 66 considering you live longer and mainly work less physically demanding jobs.

Nothing to do with any decision by the Labour Party. They didn’t make the rules when third country status was introduced by the myopic who voted for Brexit. Those “illegals” you speak of are only here to apply for asylum knowing full well we now have no legal right to send them back to any safe country so not sure why you are blaming Starmers government. Why not write to Cameron - it’s his fault.
