  1. As Mike says - electric blanket. Got mine last year and it’s great. Keep your house roomstat at a minimum of 17’ and no lower than 16’ to prevent mould and keep windows slightly open as the more humid your house is the more it costs to heat lynn. Nothing to do with Labour. The Tories sold everything off to companies with foreign shareholders. Remember when Boris promised you that leaving the EU we wouldn’t have to pay VAT on fuel?? Didn’t happen did it. Stay safe.

  4. Man who sits on a sofa STILL moaning about a top up (started by Labour) that should have never been given in the first place. Any pensioner that really needs help will get it. In fact Labour brought forward help that was never mentioned by the Tories when they were in office. If your friend lives in such a big house no doubt it’s worth a few bob so here’s some ideas - 1. Sell it, buy somewhere smaller that they can afford to heat and enjoy the savings rather than complaining about a one off £200/300 top up when disabled people have had money taken away by the Tories that they received every month and was vital to their needs. 2. Ask their family to pay. ( I paid my mums heating bills when she was alive ) if no family see No1 or No3. 3. Buy an electric blanket. If he/she can’t afford one then maybe buy one for them with all the money you make from people buying your merchandise or from you tube. Maybe you could get special Andy’s branded heating blankets made up and sell them at cost. 👍🏻

  5. Pensioners shouldn’t receive any extra top ups. They should get a better state pension but for that one you need to blame the self employed ( like Andy ) for them getting one of the lowest pensions in Europe.

  8.  @kevinatkin7406 That payment should have never been paid out anyway. Andy’s mate lives in a big house yet can’t afford to run it? Very strange. Seems odd that the majority of pensioners being mortgage free and having savings suddenly can’t afford to pay their bills. My neighbours were complaining about the WFA despite having 2 new motors on the drive and their 4th holiday booked ( 6 weeks over xmas in the far east ) I also stood behind 2 moaning hard done by pensioners in the Q at Morrisons recently as they were going into full Daily Express mode shortly before buying 60 fags and buying £40 worth of lottery tickets. Most pensioners voted for the Tories over the years. It’s their fault the UK is skint. I stand by what I said - nothing to do with Labour.
