  1. Not always. I have 2 neighbours ( both women ) who have never done a days work in their lives. One’s an alcoholic and a chain smoker the other is so large her knees have packed up under the weight again a smoker, both put massive strains on the NHS and both get free money from taxpayers like me.

  2.  @yellowstevens5699 Totally agree. Most are sitting pretty in homes they paid a few grand for. Our kids will struggle to buy their own homes and will never be able to rent a council home thanks to these pensioners buying up large stock at a massive discount.

  3. Our state pensions are one of the lowest in Europe because people like the self employed don’t want to pay proper National Insurance rates.

  4. Total rubbish - I worked in the public sector for most of my life and was a 40% taxpayer for the last 9 years with NI at £702 a month.
