Why can’t MP’s “live within their means”? Another snout in the trough waffler.

@tarik121 Like who? Ukip or Reform who both want a private healthcare system and a 20k tax threshold and peanut N.I. contributions ?

" Patients are my top priority " Only had 5 heart consultations cancelled this year and had a change in medication in February and still waiting to be supplied with said medication. T.C. won't have to worry as she will no doubt get seen by a Dr straight away if she needs one then wack the expense form in. Shortly before popping back into the pub to quaff pints of ale and smoke Cuban cigars.....

“I’ve spent loads of time in America” People of the democratic peoples republic of Clacton take note.

@J1465 I've said the same thing numerous times, especially to my builder mates who consider themselves anti socialist and true patriots. One of them who claimed for everything he could thru covid has at least 3 holidays a year to the Caribbean and dubai to "lose" his cash in hand earnings despite his heavily RW stance. I told him that I'm confused that as he prefers white people so much why does he go on holiday to black and arabic countries? Still waiting for a coherent answer.

Should be 200% and for Westminster & Kensington & Chelsea charged against the value.
17
@Christmascancelled When did they say that? Citation please.
17
@playboy010227 Yes. Bring back Bojo to finish off the 60 million quid invisible bridge, one wide enough to drive a water cannon over.
14
So what about if like my daughter she’s going to Uni to become a physiotherapist and then go to work for the NHS & RAF?? Maybe give that all up and become a plastic surgeon…

@lauralishes1 We had more rights to send people back when we were in the EU under the Dublin agreement but it was never applied properly. We also had border force in France, now no longer. The French will happily wave them thru which is the reason so many more are landing on a daily basis. Then we have the people blaming labour for it all when the tories have been in charge for 12 years, if not its the EUs fault even though we've left. You could not make it up. If the border controls were applied properly and people were only allowed to stay after 3 months if they were in employment then it would have been better but imo the government allowed a steady trickle to come thru to enhance the media campaign to get Brexit solely for a small percentage of the very wealthy to make millions for their companies and hedge funds at the expense of normal working class people. All this was predicted in most of Reesmoggs father's books where the rich slowly wind up the masses against each other. People like Farage have earnt millions working in the EU. All of the wealthy have money siphoned off in countries where they pay no taxes to the UK and the same goes for the half a dozen billionaires who own the media and who live abroad which spent a decade winding the general public up. And these People are considered patriots? You and I are paying more for everything, and if you are born and bred English you have less rights now than if you are Irish, have settled status or dual nationality all thanks to xenophobic myopia.

Wonder if David has a Trigger style broom that he’s had for 18 years?
11
Many of them are dead now.

@johnmcmahon5145 Jase still thinks it’s Corbyns fault as that’s what he read in The Sun
11
He’s over to discuss the new Trump pitch n putt course in Jaywick.

It would have come in regardless whose in control of London. It will eventually fan out to every major city in the UK.
10
Only 38% of The UK bothered to vote so no Britain didn’t vote to leave. Have another Referendum and this time make it compulsory vote. Only then you will see the “will” of the people.
10
And Pat will also need an immigrant to look after her at some point in her selfish life…
10
You can’t compare that to this. Different situation in another country.
10
No one trying to overthrow a governing body
9
Not sure why anyone would want to drive into London anyway especially south of the river. Traffic is terrible. Take the train far easier.
9
@andyisabeast7782 Agreed. Last years summer trip to the Lakes was a nightmare with pubs and restaurants closing at 8pm due to no staff and low supplies. This was in the height of the tourist season after those places had lost 18 months business thru Covid. Of course we know the North voted heavily for brexit but its only when those business owners pockets are affected they start grumbling. Same for the Fishermen and Farmers. Fancy those Fishermen in Cornwall with 70% of their catches going to the EU deciding it's better to cut off your main customer. Loonies the lot of them.
9
@juneritchie3720 Passport printing company putting 260 on the dole after the government gave the contract to a company in the EU, same for numerous companies that moved to the EU to save on operating costs ( my wife’s company being one of them ) If you haven’t noticed that your groceries are up to 60% higher thanks to transportation costs or that there’s record numbers immigration entering the country thanks to being a third country then you must be really gaslit…
9
@thetruth9210 And why do you think it’s working so badly?
8
One rule for the elite and one rule for the plebs. Luckily he didn’t make a silly comment on social media as he would have been locked up….
8
@racheldoyle1322 Ignore Benny lad Rachel as he's one of those people that begrudges anyone getting anything be it in benefits or wages. All his comments are negative.
8
@tonygange7636 Sorry Tony. I can't quite understand your last post. Either way it's clear that any form of immigrant doesn't compute in your world which as I previously mentioned you will be needing them at some point in your life just like I did with an Egyptian and Italian surgeon with half the globe backing them up in the Op theatre. They were marvellous. The immigrants that are actually damaging the country are The Windsors, Johnson's, Patel, Raab, Sunak, Javid, Cleverley's etc. Seeing as you aren't happy with the way things are going have you thought about moving to The Falklands with the other 3000 (expats) ? Think the flight goes from Brize Norton every Wednesday.
8
Didn’t get your own way then??😂
8
How Vincent? We are a third country now thanks to Nigel and his mates.
8
@LowPlainsDrifter60 If you have to ask only proves how little you know.
8
@geoffnichols3831 They all do that. It’s an ongoing joke from the out going party. I would happily have Labour in now after 14 years of misery and the UK a complete joke on the world stage.
8
He did win 2 games of tennis though
8
What about a Teabag group?
7
@theshadowdirector Have a look at her 24 grand in expenses for accommodation when she’s 55 miles from London ( am hour on the train ) or her lunch trips to St Andrews plus earnings from various jobs writing/appearing In the media.
7
It was coming in anyway Iain. Bailey would have been even worse.
7
@cosmos237 At least we are now a fully sovereign nation with full control of our laws and Borders. I mentioned this to my wife after her company moved to Hungary because of operating costs and she lost her job. Told her the upside is now you can do more house work. 😊
7
@tonygange7636 Take the 3.8 million that came over from the EU. Paying 4 times in taxes to the UK than what they took out so not strictly all doom n gloom Tony.
7
@_leyrd_. You only had to look at how Bojo ran London as mayor and then his aspirations for the big job to realise it was never going to work. I look at the locals and see how they vote in parliament. Most tories vote against any form of giving people help in favour of sorting out the companies and their bosses/mates
7
@AndrewDavies-e3f Oh yea. Let’s scrap the NHS, give everyone a 20k tax allowance when the country is on its rse and then get rid of all the immigrants except the ones in our party and their partners.😂
7
@billpugh58 Ben hates O'Brien so much he makes several comments on everyone of his YT clips. Proper fanboy.
7
@conorw7944 Agreed. The excuse is that there is disabled / blue badge holders can purchase a suitable vehicle. Most people commenting/complaining don't live in London and just see it as an excuse to have a grumble. Thing is it will eventually be in every UK city.
7
@philroo1 No it’s not. It’s points based. My son was told that he would have to wait up to 2 decades to get a council property but my friend’s daughter went into a gaff within a year with her 7 kids by 3 different men.
7
Don’t forget his financial backers told him to go as well. The grift that keeps on grifting.
7
Far better in Sweden.
7
Typical Essex pensioner. Thinks she’s owed free money. Any top ups need stopping, especially people sitting in houses worth £900k..
7
@kieranoconnor4334 Maybe phoenix is like my neighbours that don't go anywhere as they think that the world revolves around 10 sq miles of their front door. Myopia is strong where I live.
6
@iandawe948 He fits in well in Ashfield. 95% white mainly 55 plus. One of the most deprived areas in the UK apparently so no doubt all angry at furingers.
6
@barbaraneville5036 Do the people of Ashfield think that nurses earn too much money like him then?
6
@PJ-ml3yy Then you probably wouldn’t have any government at all. This is just smoke n mirrors in an election year. Notice how everything has gone quiet about some other MPs allegedly renting out a property near the Houses of Parliament whilst claiming accommodation costs from the taxpayer? Far worse imo, especially as Rayner wasn’t an MP at the time that this was alleged to have happened.
6
@tonygange7636 You could ask Boris Johnson seeing as he's a descendant of one.
6
@alandraper7901 Odd answer considering the Tories are the ones in power and have been for 12 years. Have you ever tried to claim any benefits? You've more chance in winning the euros. It was a lot easier for people to claim furlough and go out doing cash in hand building work. I know quite a few people that did it.
