@bm2060 Stick to GBnews and Talk as they are much fairer and far less biased. I watch them whilst reading the Mail. Helps with my hypotension. 👍🏻

@ThriftingHobbit I agree, but they all do it. Funny how people have forgot about people sitting in mega yachts on PPE contracts, missing bridges, wall paper at 900 a roll, and millions in tax not paid but let’s concentrate on what the RW media all owned by half a dozen billionaires that live in tax havens want you to focus on eh?

@Pelleus Last year Ms Duffield claimed over 24k in accommodation costs. Her constituency is an hour away from Westminster. Thats ok in your world ??

@boota1979 What many pensioners don’t pay is rent or mortgage.

@suejennings9526 She was voted in as a Labour candidate. Call a by-election then she can be truly independent like JC. All those thousands of pounds given to campaign. Will she be refunding them?
1
@suejennings9526 You’ve also forgot to mention that perhaps why Labour are doing what they are doing is because of 14 years of dodgy dealings by the Tories. I recall our NHS and state schools are in a FAR better place when the Tories took over than what they’ve left us with now, which is of course all done by design. A decade of that RW press also helped the Leave vote along which has ruined the country both in trade and the unicorn that is immigration. I’m getting out before Reform get in then give you a health system straight out of the American play book - can’t pay you die.

Warrior stance that claimed for lunch dinners at the Open 2 years running, 24 grand in accommodation costs in one year yet lives an hour from Westminster and was funded over the years by many people from unions and a certain member in the House of Lords for thousands of £££ Nothing to see here, and will still be claiming an MPs salary despite not being elected as an independent but as a Labour representative. ✊🏻
1
@jake751 Spot on. Yet the deluded Reform plonkers will be hoping that this will run on for another 2 months.
1
@ianbarnes9947 Will she be giving all the thousands back she received for her campaigning as a Labour MP??
1
@fionadixon4u Does a warrior stance include claiming for 2 lunches at the open championships or claiming 24k in accommodation costs when she’s an hour on the train from Westminster?? What about all the campaign funds over the years??
1
@ianbarnes9947 It’s all online. From unions to Lords with a very well known family.
1
@ianbarnes9947 I have no problem with that as they all do it but to then complain about others is a tad hypocritical - no? The accommodation cost is completely different kettle of fish however. Disgusting.
1
@ianbarnes9947 This year 12k for campaigning. I would only agree she’s representing her constituents if she’s been elected as an independent. She’s currently receiving a wage elected as a Labour MP which she no longer is. Whilst I commend anyone with any principles these should be after a by-election. If an MP resigns then the area should go to vote. If you did a job then resigned would you expect to be paid?

@greeng313 My neighbour is mortgage free, ex self employed accountant so paid as little tax and NI into the system as the avoidance schemes allow and has 6 holidays a year.
1
@greeng313 You could blame the self employed for the UKs second lowest state pensions in Europe. It’s their fault after all.

2 years running. Nothing compares to the 24 grand she took off the taxpayer for accommodation last year when she’s an hour from Westminster though.
1
@ThriftingHobbit Has he been arrested or charged with corruption then? Must have missed it.
1
@boota1979 Do you have a mortgage/Rent? If so why?? And why do you think the UKs state pensions are nearly the lowest in Europe? Couldn’t be because of all the self employed that pay peanut NI contributions ( something the Tories wanted shot of ) and use as many schemes to avoid paying as much tax as possible could it? Surely not.. Let’s also not forget that Canterburys pensioners will mainly be very well off. They shouldn’t be getting any extra WFA. My neighbour has just had his fourth holiday and will be going back out to the far east for 6 weeks over xmas. He’s asked me to keep an eye on his new Mercedes. 🙄
