  9. 80% of the countries pensioners own their homes outright. The rest are mainly in social housing. Now equate that to the countries young and most probably won’t ever be able to afford to buy their own home especially in London.

  25.  @darrylsimpson4744 Except no pensioners would pay back. My neighbours were moaning about losing the WFA shortly before going to the far east over xmas for 6 weeks - their 4th holiday of 24. The same would go for the brand new car brigade. None of them would pay back. The WFA should have never been paid out in the first place.

  26.  @darrylsimpson4744 Funny how most pensioners have voted for the Tories over the last 2 decades and don’t like socialism then don’t stop moaning when a one off payment that shouldn’t have been paid in the first place is taken away because they country is skint caused by the very same people that they voted for. The same goes for all the Brexit voting pensioners ( 20% in the ground now ) that wanted rid of foreigners then started moaning that they can’t get seen at the Dr’s or hospitals.

  28.  @miket1783-j5j Why do you think train drivers earn the wage they get mike? If you get weekends or bank holidays off, lunch breaks, holidays, proper working conditions etc then that’s all because of unions. You won’t be able to ban strikes in railways either.
