  1. Farmer - “ I had to buy a new van” Wow - drives 100k plus tractors yet doesn’t have a compliant van. MT has forgot to mention a couple of ( important) points - ULEZ was a TORY idea and the expansion was caused by the TORIES deal with Khan after bailing out TFL thru the pandemic. The main damage caused to farming was Brexit yet no mention of loss of any subsidies to the farming communities. The people that have messed the country up has been the TORIES over the last decade plus. Produce from farmers has risen dramatically thanks to the fact it costs much more to send produce abroad as the English don’t tend to be driven by quality as in places like France but by cost so they would much rather buy 3 chickens for £12 that come from abroad rather than a proper free range, corn fed one costing the same price,hence the prices keep going up to cover their costs. Why didn’t MT ask how many immigrants the farmer has had working for him? The lots and lots of regulations that the farmer mentions is for a reason and THAT’S why our produce is far BETTER than that of abroad but where did those standards come from? Wasn’t the EU by any chance? A very one sided interview. Looks like more gaslighting to me.
