@Bungle-UK Train drivers don’t work in ticket offices do they? Cleaners, station staff, track workers etc are facing huge job cuts. Take the gaslighting out of your comment and then take a proper look at why the strike actions taking place.

@imagecollections6665 If the company makes a profit then that would be down to the staff. That means they should be entitled to a cut of those profits. Railway pensions have always been better than other companies but why not bring the other companies up to match rather than dragging everyone to the bottom. If someone takes a job that’s self employed that’s their choice. All my builder friends are loaded, most have to take extra holidays to “ lose” their cash in hand money. All of them claim for everything. It is what it is.
