  1. The Tories are in power because a myopic section of the country were/are so entrenched in xenophobia they gave them a huge majority to do what they wanted. Nothing more. If it were Labour that had operated like this lot the Tories would have done exactly the same. That's politics. People think Reform are going to be the saving grace, yet no one can answer who's paying for the extrodinate things in their manifesto. The NHS will be completely gone if they got their hands on it. As for immigration, we had more control within the EU than out of it, it's just the rules were never applied correctly.
