  7.  @wobkgs  Guard is responsible for the safe operation of the trains doors and running of the train. They are also trained to move the train in emergencies or when the train needs to be double crewed.

  8. 1 to 3% is a 10 to 12% pay CUT. Historically rail pay talks have normally been over 3 to 4 years at a percentage over RPI. As the tories have fecked up the country with their dodgy dealings they don't want to pay out hence not talking to the unions.
