⁠ @NeonVisual 2015 32,733 came to the UK and in 2023 84,425 I would say we were better off in the EU than out of it. The figures would also agree.

I’ve already had a ton bet with my racist uncle who lives in Clacton that the EU’s worst attending MEP ( apart from the chap with no legs ) won’t be down there more than 15 visits and the new Trump Towers / crazy golf centre at Jaywick will not be getting built anytime soon.

@routeman680 I would put money on it if it was allowed to be put back on the table tomorrow Labour would take it, same for the Tories and Reform. When Dublin lV comes in then any safe country sending anyone thru to another country would have to pay them 235k per person. Record numbers coming after Brexit with the UK not having any agreement to send anyone back to anywhere thanks to third country status isn’t a weird coincidence is it?

You also mentioned that it was worse when we were in the EU hence my response. Why are you patriots always angry? Did you also not realise that once the transitional period had passed those people alongside the ones gaining visas to come and work etc had the right to stay?
