  2. Nah. This kind of behavior goes on all over the place alllllll the way to the top and is covered up more than exposed. I'm not even employed but I know that if I was considered a "low status" in a work place with a fortune and reputation to protect and I shot my mouth off about a (much) higher status touching me (or someone else), not only would I not be believed - I'd likely be fired, and victimized. My children would suffer. Look how much it took to get him to jail. This is why he was so confident too.

  3. It's just occurred to me that this is why my mum ALWAYS asked for a "lady" doctor for me as I was growing up and needed to be examined for any reason. She was trying to protect me :)

  6. It's likely the person being complained about "knows" things about the higher ups in the institution., that too is why they feel so invincible and why they feel able to go so far. It's likely they spoke about it over drinks and laughed about it. Basically they all cover up for each other until the case blows up so much that they can't.

  10. For me it's always been a female doing it on her own but acting like it's the most normal thing in the world, almost boring haha. Puts me at ease. I'd feel very uncomfortable with a man doing it.

  11. @emmaoshaughnessy778  it's the same in England I think. But that may be due to the NHS being cut to shreds constantly. Just remember- what strikes the oyster shell cannot damage the pearl.
