@gusjackson3658 what do you mean you did not mention Britain? In you previous comment you said that British civilians victims were minuscule comparing to the population.
My point is, as Britain was an ally of USSR , the fate of USSR citizens of course was concern for Britain . Victims there were in the millions .
For you to say that even though Germans murdered millions of civilians in other countries , civilians casualties in Britain were minuscule , therefor Britain should not have bombed German towns , would have been treacherous talk during the war .
Russians often asked the allies to bomb industrial towns and of course it helped the Soviets immensely. Dresden was the most eastern railway hub , from there tens of thousands of soldiers every day were sent to the East , it was very important to bomb the railways , so as to help the Russians .
You point that while Germans kill millions of civilians in USSR , Poland and it is very sad, Britain had no reason to bomb German towns since the British casualties were minuscule are preposterous. I just can imagine Churchill saying that to Stalin .

@gusjackson3658
Oh, really ? Didn’t you say that while the Germans killed millions of civilians in Europe ,
in British case the number of dead civilians was minuscule , your making a difference between British civilian casualties and civilians killed in USSR and Europe I find obnoxious.
You were the allies of USSR , and Poland so you should treat Germans targeting Russian and Polish civilians as your own.
And don’t say it is not a number’s game for you, you indicated the opposite , when you mentioned ‘ minuscule ‘ British numbers .
Now you are trying to deny it, saying it is not a numbers game for you .
You ‘ve been disingenuous, trying to walk backwards when caught on a double standard , “not a numbers game for me ‘ - while in reality exactly the opposite is the truth
Interesting that you noticed that these days military tries not to target civilians .
Of course , these days they can pinpoint their targets, it was totally different during the Second World War

@richardjansen3317 oh dear, so those families decided to start the wars . Or stop printing money.
I just would like to ask one question, there were wars in Ancient Greece , Ancient Rome , then there were 100 year war, 30 year war, at that time Russia was fighting the Mongol
Turks fought Byzantine and won , became an empire , fought and conquered Greece, Bulgaria , Bosnia , in Europe England fought France,
England fought Spanish Armada,
Then Europeans went America and fought the Indians , then there were Napoleonic wars .
Do you think that they still the same families from Ancient Greece and Rome who are in charge ?!
