Here's my question...WTF does Poland, Ukraine, Hungary, Slovenia, Romania have to do with the NORTH ATLANTIC?! That's the 'NA' in NATO.
it would be like me living as I do in Missouri, and running some large organization called the Pacific Coast something or the other, or the Atlantic Seaboard whatever group...we might as well introduce Australia and Japan in to NATO and start calling them honorary European nations lulz.
Geography for my 38 years has always put Ukraine as part of ASIA, just like Russia, yet this week suddenly every news outlet declared it's now in Europe, just as fast as they pivoted from calling it 'Kiev' for 70+ years, to now over the last weeks it's abruptly and without even a nod to the change 'Kyiv'. These talking points and linguistic tricks don't just 'happen', this is coordinated.

As a 39 year old debt free millennial, I'm salivating, this is finally MY chance, I actually have means and money and low risk, I can be the guy who swoops in and buys shit from everyone else for cheap and profit, like what happened the last two times.
Recessions suck if you're poor, but if you're not it's just clearance shopping for houses and cars and toys.
Guns, super cheap, it's the first thing people sell.
If you default on your new house, rest assured someone will get a great deal off of your misfortune, so there's that at least.
We'll talk about it at the next meeting of the Elder Millennial Council, remember we have that zoning deal to vote on.

Realism. Taking the world as it IS, not how we WANT it. That's pragmatism. Doing whatever actually works, no matter how stupid or bad or counterintuitive it seems to people. The Wright brothers were pragmatists, what's the easiest, most low-effort way to fly, well that's this, ok let's try that! But, that means ignoring orthodoxy! Do it anyway, and win.
The book definition agrees with me: "A practical, matter-of-fact way of approaching or assessing situations or of solving problems."
If you told me someone is pragmatic, by default I assume they're also very PRACTICAL, practicality being a hallmark of pragmatism.
