  1. Parent: "learn not to get caught". I remember back in the day when that would be a leftist parenting point of pride, to teach their kids to skirt 'authority' and be rebellious. The parents who had the 'question authority' bumper stickers. It was the right straight laced parents who raised rule followers. Today it's inverted, the lefties are the hardcore rule followers, no matter what, and the right are the counterculture rebels telling the rulemakers and busybodies to piss off, keep your business to yourself, mouth shut, and do your own thing. Such an odd flip flop.
