  1. It makes sense from the perspective of the virus 🦠 to become more transmissible and less lethal. A dead host can no longer spread or reproduce the virus. It's why things like Ebola don't wipe every one out, it kills the host at such a high rate and speed it burns out. There is a necessary balance, as in all things.
