Just think about how...interesting...it is that we live in a day where one nation invades another and there is outrage and surprise that the invading nation would hit a civilian home with non-precision artillery. Look to history and you see that targeting civilians was a feature of large scale warfare, not a bug. HIROSHIMA, for example, was a civilian target deliberately chosen for psychological impact. In WW2 Europe entire non-military cities were obliterated, see Dresden and Hamburg, or for Pacific theater, Tokyo. Tens of thousands of civilians were killed in these bombing campaigns. Stalingrad was sieged and blockaded by the Germans for YEARS and MILLIONS of Russian civilians, women and children, died/starved to death. What was a major disconnect for me here was "Russia invades Ukraine!...watch live on our livestreaming Kiev/Kyiv cam! If there was a 'real' invasion, I'd expect ZERO news, because I'd expect all communications to be down, no cell service, no GPS, no sat phone, no internet, radio jamming, a complete black box. The fact that people are calling in and out, livestreaming, webcamming live from cities, seems ODD. On a good day in the US, comms are down and out at least somewhere, yet in Ukraine they're under the alleged worst invasion since WW2 and everything is just running fine? OK.
