That would be trippy if you had some mutation that allowed you to see, from birth, infrared light and just thought it was normal because it's all you've ever known. My brother-in-law, for example, is completely color blind, he can only see some blues and that's all...and he didn't even know it until he enlisted in the Air Force. His life up to that point he just assumed the entire world was black/white/blue and that's just how it was for everyone. That's a deep concept to contemplate, that whatever another person has lived with their entire life that may be alien to you and others is their idea of normal.
