  1. I have to dispute one factual point: you compare the scope of the Venezuelan Navy to that of the US Coast guard. That is an incorrect comparison. The US Coast guard on its own is the 12th largest Navy on Earth and has global jurisdiction, even in international Waters, and in contrast to the Navy or any other armed forces branch, has full law enforcement jurisdiction on land within the United States. I understand the point being made obviously, but I feel that comparison gives the Venezuelan Navy far too much credit.
