  2. TRUE, that does make logical sense. Both parents have equal 'claim' to the kid, if one forfeits that claim by choice, like taking a name off a title, the father should then be the sole parent, all shared rights relinquished by one partner are gained by the other. I'm an adopted kid, and as I was told, before I could be family-adopted, my bio dad had to legally sign away all rights of any kind to me, only then were my grandparents able to legally adopt me. Of course, had there been a different 'choice' made, he wouldn't have been consulted at all, which is very wrong. Not all parties get a say, I know if I had been asked, I'd have voted to live, and being alive now I reaffirm that vote.

  5. Realism. Taking the world as it IS, not how we WANT it. That's pragmatism. Doing whatever actually works, no matter how stupid or bad or counterintuitive it seems to people. The Wright brothers were pragmatists, what's the easiest, most low-effort way to fly, well that's this, ok let's try that! But, that means ignoring orthodoxy! Do it anyway, and win. The book definition agrees with me: "A practical, matter-of-fact way of approaching or assessing situations or of solving problems." If you told me someone is pragmatic, by default I assume they're also very PRACTICAL, practicality being a hallmark of pragmatism.

  6. Oddly enough I'd vote for RFK over Trump head to head, even though he's an attorney. As a lifetime Republican voter, I've long lamented when my millenial generation would get our Kennedy to vote for, just hoped he'd be in his 30s lol. We in our 30s are tired of our presidential choices being great granddad or great grandma. I'm ready to feel old for once, with a President younger than my 39 years.

It always does, you just don't see the next step happen of people actually growing up from the experience.

Because had Trump NOT won in 2016, I'd probably be having to 3d print AR receivers, dodging the gun detecting drones trying to airstrike me for Fuhrer Clinton. Is it ideal, NO, but what the fuck is?
