Did mushrooms several times and acid once in college with a group. Never saw 'entities' other than lights and visuals and patterns dance and such. I thought my brown speckled carpet was a rattlesnake for a moment on acid, but said hell no, this is all in MY mind and Im not into snakes, poof, snakes de-manifested. Probably helped I've been a lucid dreamer since childhood.
The main journey of shrooms I always had was every time I felt body poisoned and thought I was going to die, no question, I was dying....until I followed my fellow trippers advice to 'let go, to jump off the cliff and fly, stop holding onto that ground". Once I could get past that point it would be a great time, it's like my mind has to be talked into letting my body 'die' to be able to start the trip. Usually took 30-45 min. Perhaps that's 'ego death'? Who knows.
OF NOTE: I had occasional headaches for the 20+ years before I did shrooms, and in the 10+ years after I did then, I've had a headache maybe 5 times, other than like dehydration/overdrinking/head trauma headaches. There are many studies of psylicibin as a treatment or even cure for migraines, so it makes sense. It was also good for critical thinking, every person should experience not being able to trust what you're seeing for a couple hours at least once, you'll spend the rest of your life looking deeper at life.
