  2. Also, they need to learn better manipulative framing: You don't go to lunch together to get away from the women, you lunch together to SPARE THE WOMEN FROM YOUR TOXIC RAUCOUS MAN LUNCHES. Frame it as we're so disgusting we're being CONSIDERATE by leaving you back here at the office, we're taking our bad behavior away so you're not subjected to it. NOW it makes her feel small because it raises that doubt of "Oh, maybe I am wrong and they are actually being considerate, hmm, I'm conflicted now!"

Here's my test, I use this all the time in my life: You've asked me to do something, I ask myself "If the person asking this was the love of my life, my wife, the mother of my children, would I do it?" If the answer is no, then why the hell would I do that thing for YOU? Think about that. If I wouldn't bend over backwards like they're asking for someone I know and like, why would I even consider doing it for a stranger or coworker? I think people need to ask themselves that question before asking someone something. "Would I expect someone I really care about to do this if I asked, no? Then why would I expect a stranger to?"

  5. And this is the problem with workplaces today it seems, in 2023: I should have little to no knowledge of your lifestyles, politics, race, gender, to complain about or watch for. BECAUSE I'M AT WORK Am I the only person who still goes to work to get AWAY from politics and religion and all that personal shit everyone is so obsessed about?

I can confirm men somewhat do this as well, when I started my current job the 'main guy' that runs everything invited me to the Texas Holdem game they would have Fridays and big holidays, a big group of coworkers, all men. This was at the company christmas party, we work a half-day and have a catered lunch, then off for the rest of the day. I declined, I'd just started working there and was getting back on my feet financially. Maybe another time they said. The next Christmas, had a great first year, I get invited to the same game again, and this time "You've been here a year so we know you got money...", but I declined again. It's been five years now and I've never been invited to anything with that group every again, and now in a few months that entire group has quit, been fired, or got retired. I had others not in that 'group' I talked to and they said that's how it works, they invite you to the clique twice and if you say no both times, there is not a third.

  9. Did you guys do organized exercises each morning? I watched a large crew build a large bridge over the Mississippi River right outside my office window for almost 2 years, and every morning the entire crew would assemble, about 50 people, in their hard hats and life preservers and safety vests, and do stretches and jumping jacks and all this calisthenics as a led group for 10 minutes.

  10.  @johneyton5452  UM, if you have people in the PD that are a net negative, that's a massive net negative for the whole, it's bad cops that cause tragedies. IF we're going to have police, I like the idea of them being actually well trained, educated, and probably paid more. I'd rather have police that are competent and effective than police that are incompetent and power tripping, raping society. Bad police are never a positive for any nation. It can ONLY be a detriment.

  11. They feel isolated? How do they think their male coworkers feel being FORCED by current politics to FEAR their female coworkers, OR MORE ACCURATELY, FEAR the MEN those women can influence into destroying your life, jailing, or killing you. It's not the women that are ever the real problem, it's the other men they command, it's the courts and government they command, it's the police they command, that are the fear, at least in my mind. I'm far and away more fearful of society and my own government(s) than I am any individual human.
