  1. If that's your standard, why would anyone come to the US, we have the largest prison population in the world, regardless of population. China has a billion more people and they're a dictatorship, imprisoning LESS people than we do, the shining freedom democracy on a hill.... Russians should avoid the us, stay there where it's safe.

  3. The military is what makes you that way. Heard it from a lot of men. Straightened up is what you join to get rid of. You join to see the world, kill things, break people, and get paid to do it. Outside the military your pay for that is prison, so criminals join in mass. It's why there's a giant surge in organized crime after each major us war, those GIs come home with no opportunities, so they use their military/combat training for criminal enterprises. Look at the rise of violent gangs, bikers especially, huge growth after every war as they recruit vets and their useful skills.
