  3. If the cops steal from you, how can they arrest you for stealing? It's a fundamental problem in the US today. What do you do when your attacker IS an officer? When they're using the power for wrong?

  4. I police helicopter on average is $3000/hour to fly, so they spent what, 100K in costs and payroll for his army of officers, to recover a fraction of that? It's the same in my state, $40k/year/offender, so if a person burglarized you house and stole a $701 laptop, three years, we'll spend $100 grand in tax money for your mid-range used laptop. Oh well, justice is expensive, why would we want new schools or streets?

  6. Eh, either way you get paid the same. It's just a job. It's not like you're losing out on a commission or fine profit sharing. As a taxpayer it's frustrating to see $100k in flying costs, labor, fuel, incarceration, all for like $5k in fraud. in my state we'll spend $90k imprisoning a burglar for 3 years for an item over $699. For your flatscreen some community now loses out on a street or a school building, the costs are insane.

  7. The real issue is they used all those resources for a financial crime, yet murders go uninvestigated. No helicopters and dozens of cops for THAT. Nope, we need to recover hundreds of dollars...by spending thousands an hour.
