@conservativeriot5939 WAIT A SECOND, hell no you're not getting away with that, if the price of his car and his criminal history are irrelevant, THEN SO IS HIM BEING A BLACK MAN.
If that becomes irrelevant, this ceases to be a story. I've been more violently arrested in the past as a white man, for not even doing anything at the time, I just had an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court. I've also done WAY worse traffic crimes, BLATANTLY, in front of an officer, and kept my cool and got a warning, thanks to knowing a little bit of law from the famous ACLU how to get pulled over video.
Not once did he follow any of their advice.
All attention is good attention though, he turned a $100 minor traffic ticket into GLOBAL news, so he's profiting immensely. Billions in free media.

The FIRST thing you should always be saying to that officer, before ANYTHING, "Officer, can I ask why you stopped me?" You need that articulable suspicion right up front, you MAKE that officer directly accuse you of a crime, otherwise we're done. No articulable suspicion, I'm asking if I'm free to leave.
I've gotten pulled over before, street racing, triple digits on the interstate, crowded traffic, passed a cop, he stopped me. LIVID, I saw him pop his holster thumb break when he jumped out, and when I asked him "Can I ask why you pulled me over" he was so shocked and pissed he jumped back almost into interstate traffic....and then gave me a WARNING.
He was in a admin car, no radar gun, he didn't pace me, what was he going to say in court, the suspect was going 'fast'? And the guy I was racing he let go, so?
He did make me hand him my car keys, take my sunglasses off, and told me to put both hands THROUGH the steering wheel and both palms flat on the dash while he ran my info, and lectured me about the interstate not being my personal race track and these are REAL people in these other cars, not obstacles, and sent me on my way to finish my drive to work lol.

Funny, it was the half of us that were like "Change HOW? We would like far more upfront info, please" that were called evil naxi racist truther terrorists.
As I said at the time, I'll proudly tell my grandkids that I was an ACTIVIST when it mattered, in the 2009 tea party era, when if you were a grandma wearing a teabag hat they'd call in the swat team on your march, and Nancy Pelosi stood in front of congress and called us terrorists, well If supporting the Constitution and capitalism and our ideals, her actual job, is terrorism I proudly wear that decal.
I love America enough to want to SAVE it, not destroy it in some noble suicide BS.
We're the United States, for 200+ years we didn't really give a single fuckety fuck what the rest of the world thought about us, we were doing US. When and why did that change?

Our culture has never been in the Asian tradition of 'saving face' so it's troubling that we seem to be going to a lot of trouble to save face with other world leaders that hate us, leading populations that have been trained to hate us.
I know in my personal life I'm not making decisions through the lens of "oh but what will my haters think about that, is it ok with them?".
Hell no, I do what I'm going to do and they'll do whatever, I can't control anyone but me. I think we as a nation need to be replying to a lot of outside calls for help with "Oh man, that's terrible what's happened to you, like that's REALLY sad...what do YOU plan to do to deal with that? Ok well sounds like you have a plan, if you need any advice or moral support, you can always call us again at 1-800-America and we'll cheer you up!........Oh no, sorry, hundreds of billions in tax money, planes and bombs and guns, troops, our navy, NAH we really don't send those out for foreigners or non-subscribers anymore, but we'll send a gift bag if you pick it up at the UN."

I'm glad you used that specific word, "deperson". A synonym for dehumanize. Here's the problem I have with dehumanizing someone due to their views: if you can do it to someone, you can do it to ANYONE. I personally don't want to be dehumanized, so I oppose dehumanizing anyone.
It's the same with censorship. If something can be censored, that makes room and precedent for ANYTHING to be censored. 'Hate Speech' is a vehicle of this. Oh, racism is bad, hate speech, silence it...but then a while later, before you know it, it's something mundane and mainstream that a vocal enough minority bitches about, oh, that's now hate speech, just like racism, and you're 'evil' for saying that opinion, silence it. And if you try to fight back against that, well now you're a 'bigot' who 'platforms' and defends 'hate speech'...It's very insidious and pernicious.

No you see that past experience EXPLAINS and JUSTIFIES his actions in this traffic stop, he was oppressed by the police in the past for his crimes, so now he's in fear of getting caught I mean in fear of the police oppressing him more. In his super car. With his 7 figure salary.
They're traffic cops, ALL THE WANT IS YOUR MONEY, and you have so much you won't miss it, so why act a fool?
He should have been like Jordan Belfort on his yacht, here you go cops, starts shoveling $100s out the window, pay my ticket, get you and your wife and girlfriends something nice from me, let me get to work. Fun coupons I think he called those $100s.

Here's a real world example, ideally the oxygen concentration around you for breathing and living should be about 20-21%, so if it drops 1% that might not sound like a great deal, right? It won't sound like anything because you'll potentially be unconscious, suffocating.
Covid, the worst disease ever forever that's ever been, allegedly, has a fatality rate of just 1%, but would we consider that 'a great deal' of death, it's just 1%, 1 in 100 chance.

I might be alone in this, but I'd think terrorism would be 'better' in something like this. Let me explain what I mean by that. If it's terrorism, that means it at the least has some sort of meaning.
It happened for some reason, even if a crazy reason. It would be far worse, in my opinion, by my thought processes, if it was just some random event, some crazy that decided to do a thing and it means nothing. We can make sense of out purposeful violence, they were killed for an idea, or someone was killed for money, something like that. But someone you love randomly dying for no reason at all, that's terrifying.
The Las Vegas shooting is like that. We never found out why it happened. What was the REASON? All those people just died to die for no reason whatsoever, at random, apparently.
Stay safe.
