YOU had ONE job, not a career, not a happy adventure, ONE JOB, A DUTY to raise your kids how YOU wanted, and you abdicated that apparently. Do not gripe about how you made your kids turn out with your actions. You had all the control. The exact opposite response I've seen from actually rational parents was an interview I saw in the past with super-liberal parents who had far-right kids, and one set of parents said "We raised our kids to be critical thinkers who make their own decisions for their own reasons...If we give them those tools to use, and they USE THEM, how can I be disappointed with that. So what they didn't make the same decision as me, it's THEIR decision and we love them for it". That is worthy of respect, those are good people.

  6. I know in CA political belief is an actual protected class for employment. Fire them for being politically insane and the gov will clap you. All we can do is pray for them.

  7. If your dad was important to you, you would be able to accept his political choices. My dad is 84 and likes to use the N word lol, but he's also my dad and I love him lol. Why would I try to force someone I love to change? That's controlling.
