  1. As a single guy I do all those things because I'd not expect another person to do them for me, because no person ever has. Men are easy to please and impress because our expectations for most things are zero tbh. Woman or not, my home will be paid off, clean, and my meals cooked and stuff cared for, because no one else can be counted on to do it. Women leave. That's my trauma talking lol, but yeah, OTHER people are not dependable, YOU are. I know many husbands who do all their own housework because their wife doesn't do it up to standards, and it has to be done, so they just do it.

  2. It's a huge disconnect, women don't want to 'settle', men want to settle DOWN. The alternative is to be UNSETTLED. Turmoil, upset, turbid. All negative things. But women see it the opposite somehow. Weird.
