  1. I know how to fix that: "I don't want to wear a white dress!" Response:"That's good, you don't GET to wear a white dress". Watch how fast she demands to wear a white dress lol. Preempt her and mention she's not going to be ALLOWED to take your last name, I bet that's upsetting lol.

  2. I may have an unpopular opinion here, but I'd put my immediate family at a higher priority than a wife. Family is always first, and first family is first lol. It seems crazy to me when I see people estrange from their parents/siblings because "they have to put their wife first". I can get a different wife/gf. My parents and siblings are irreplaceable. By the same token if we had children they'd take family priority over her (and probably anyone else). I guess it loops back to a man's honor code as you mentioned.

  4.  @Dante-mw2ez  so wait...if there is a gunman holding your family hostage, and you get to choose who survives, you tell him to shoot the kid and release your wife? I'd hope she'd either A)jump in front of that round, or B) leave you over letting the child die. Overall disturbing, and I'm not even religious. Conversely, I'd hope I got to die to save the life of a child of mine, and I'd hope any parent would.
