  1. $1000/month is what I pay to live in Missouri. I own my house, my farm, and I'm debt free. Food, utilities, insurance, taxes, all that is about $13-14k a year, all told. I have a farmer grow crops on my land and my share of the profits is about $13k/year. My money I earn from work is pure profit, and I'm working on getting a remote job now that'll double my income with no more work than I'm already doing. I'm 41. You can get here, in the US. Cut costs, save, buy dividend stocks.

  2. I pay zero for both right now. Look into tax refund programs, we get all our property taxes back as cash under a refund credit program. My employer pays 100% of my health insurance.

  3. You can live like a king in the US on that. I have 100 acres and my expenses are $1000/month or so all told.
