I could be wrong, just shooting from the hip as a hydrologist and water chemist, but if you start pumping hydrogen into water, in an ionic form so it doesn't bond with water molecules, won't that bond with gaseous oxygen in the air and form hydroxide ions and make that water basic AF? Which can be good UP TO A POINT until it becomes caustic.

  2.  @culteducube4108  My sister is working on her MD, you know what the first Bachelors she needed to get was? BIOCHEMISTRY. Because turns out, chemistry plays a pretty DAMN BIG role in, well, the entire operation of a body. It's the source code of reality. No doctor has any start of an excuse not to be a chemistry expert, any less than I do, as a water hydrologist/chemist for my water department. Water chemistry can and does fill entire libraries on it's own, I've studied it professionally for a decade, with a degree, and still learn more daily.
