  3. I think jewelrys value should come from meaning, not price. I don't wear any except a $17 stainless steel chain, with a $39 Cardinal pendant on it...but it's absolutely priceless to me because it's filled with a mixture of my mother's cremation ashes, and some soil from our multigenerational family farm. I touch it whenever I need to remind myself I always have a home and a future.

  4. Weddings are cheap, it's the 80% chance of losing millions in the divorce that men can't afford. I've seen friends go through that, first wife got half his giant family farm. Second wife got the other half. Now his third wife has a house and farm and cash he's enjoying that she won in HER previous divorce...
