  1. For 2.5 million, they could put some actual walls in that house instead of chinese drywall. Maybe some nice stone or wood. And with 2.5 million they could add an extra wing to the house with the left over money. Pauls should have just paid $3m or so and bought the house and told them to f-off.

I suppose they could try the creative defense: that the damages, since they occurred as part of their creative process are technically now art, not only appreciating the value of the home, but also being protected as intellectual property. It would be great to see Jake Paul cite that Team 10 made, say $5 million in YouTube revenue creating said damages ("art"), and the landlord owes them damages in that amount. Not saying it would work, but current reality is insane and you literally can sue for anything in our legal system, so it would at least be entertaining
