And on that same note, I talk to people today who are 20 that have zero concept of how big a deal 9/11 was.
I was 18 and had just registered for the draft on Sept 11, 2001, I was a high school senior, and it was the LITERAL END OF THE F-ING WORLD to us. I can close my eyes still today and see each tower fall on the TV in my high school classroom, who I was in the room with, and who of those people volunteered and died in the war that came after. My high school graduating class is trauma-bonded for life from that, we were the Class of 9/11, 2002.
I was elected as graduation speaker and I very deliberately said NOTHING about 9/11 in my 10 minute speech, because WHY, what could I or anyone else say that hadn't already been said 100x times? My speech was about moving PAST that, to the future.

I work in municipal government, but my budget is actual REVENUE, not taxation, we're the water department. We make and sell water and our customers pay for it, that's our budget. It's about $800k in revenue, and I've aggressively cut spending and expenses in the 2 fiscal years I've been Dept Director, this year I'll have about a $200k surplus.
What's my reward for that, a bonus? Being able to buy something I really need?
NO, my reward for being that responsible is my surplus money gets stolen my the city and used to go on a different departments books to balance their budget, and I get f-ing nothing. It's frustrating. And at the same time they're jacking my budget surplus, I'm also being told we can't afford anything and especially not raises or increased starting pay to attract new qualified workers, oh heavens no. I'm looking at the numbers, I know we can, stop lying to my face.
If I got a performance bonus of even 1% of what I cut from the budget Year over Year, I can guarantee our expenses would get slashed even more, but right now there's no incentive because the more I cut the more I LOSE.

Exactly, it's like meeting a new person, after you talk to them for 10 minutes, you'll start to answer questions how you know they want them answered. Questions have different answers often based on who asks you them, and we all know this.
If you're asked the same, identical question by a stranger, your supervisor, a close friend, and your wife, those will be 4 very diverse responses.
It's that thought we've all had, I know what I want to say, but I'm not saying that to THEM.

No, ALL persons are subject to the same law, that's equal protection, BUT, if you're not a citizen, Constitutional protections do not apply to you. Illegal immigrants have no rights, but must follow the same laws. You want protections, become a citizen.
Service ensures citizenship?
They way you're trying it spin it is identical to some sovereign citizen talking points, "I'm a free citizen of the earth, I get all US citizen protections but I'm not subject to the laws, I don't contract with the state, what do you mean I need a driver's license and insurance and I can't try to stab the police? That flag has gold fringe you're not a real court! Articles of Confederation!"

As a municipal government worker, talking to people is the most important thing, because things happen and people connect dots, and often they make incorrect conclusions because they don't know what's actually going on, and we have to remember that. "AW, I can't believe my local government is doing (thing) WTF?! Why are they doing that?!", so you explain to them the situation, the circumstances, the thought process and plan that went into and backed that final decision that they got to see, and very often that results in that resident responding "Oh...well that makes sense then, I didn't know all that. Good job dealing with that".

Just like in 2016 they liked to say it was such a close election, but if you go by STATES, Trump won 30 to her 20, that's pretty huge.
That's like losing the baseball game, your score 2, theirs 3, BUT BUT BUT you got 5 more hits than them so technically...NO, all that matters is the score, not the other metrics that may be better. You get 100 hits to their 4, but you never make it to home plate and they blast 3 home runs, loss.

SAME. I loved my job when I was lead plant operator. As plant manager it's NONE of the job that I loved, and everything I hate doing. When I started, I was like this is GREAT, no dealing with the public, working mostly alone, zero people to supervise, and no dealing with money.
Guess what the f I do NOW, supervise people, go to meetings, file paperwork, do budget stress shit, and endlessly get shit from the public. I got a $2/hr raise to take that on and went from 4 days a week to 5. After 9 years here I'm looking for the exit.

I've had this recurring thought line for years now, "What if we used this to solve that, by doing this, and changing that?...hmm, I just thought of that in 10 seconds, SURELY, SURELY the people way smarter than me that get paid to spend all day every day thinking about such problems already thought of that, tried it, it didn't work, and they moved on, Right? RIGHT?"
And so often NO, they didn't or they haven't. It's crazy. It's 'we can't do that super simple thing that would be CRAZY' type thinking. For something to work it has to be convoluted and asinine and rube-goldbergian, we think.

I don't know how popular an idea it is, but being born and raised in the US, a message we get over time is how FORTUNATE we are to have been born here, and we have an obligation to help others with that...I hate to call it privilege, but more like passing on good fortune. Call it "American Guilt". And it can be a problem, see some of our global interventions. There's helping, which is good, then there's overhelping people aren't asking for, and that can be bad.
The idea I've tried to live by is "If I was this other person, what would I want me to do for them?" Then I do that. We're all people, it's usually not too hard to figure out. I've had a lot of experiences with people from all over the world and the biggest lesson is how similar we are as people, not how different we are.

I agree, as an American who's briefly considered politics, maybe later in life, I've thought one of the tactics I'd like to use campaigning is IGNORE my opponent entirely, make them IRRELEVANT. Someone asks "So and so said this or that, how do you respond?" I'd reply "Hey, that's their business and they're not me, I'm here right now, if you want to know about them go ask them, WHAT I'M PROPOSING to deal with that issue is (deliver my position on the issue)".
So and so says whatever, that's fine, they can say whatever they want, my campaign is about what I'M SAYING to the people I want to represent and how I advocate for them, and I think citizens should listen to everyone and vote their conscience.
"Well such and such says your plan won't work!"
"They can say whatever they want, that's their business, their opinion, but here's my opinion on my why plan will work, how it will work, and why I think it's in my constituents best interest to support it." Stay off defense because you're always on offense.

No one in this debate at all is talking about that, or medical issues.
Confine the discussion to ELECTIVE Abortion only.
I'm pro-life and I would advocate for MANDATORY abortion for pregnancies from rape, incest, OR under the age of consent.
I was one of those accidental pregnancies of two 16 year olds, in 1983, so I'm arguing against my own existence here, that's my level of objectivity.
The hilarious realization is, if abortion was MANDATED, the left would have it banned TONIGHT, instantly, they'd swip-swap to government off my baby immediately.

It's like when I pay my local property taxes, and I get the breakdown of where that revenue goes, and I see that 90%, NINETY, goes to the local school district, and I have ZERO children.
That means roads, bridges, EMTs, Hospitals, Fire Dept, police all of that NOT the school district runs on just TEN PERCENT of the taxes I pay.
I think that should be the opposite. If you have kids, you pay school district taxes, if you don't, you don't and that money goes to everything else.

If Tinder worked half as well as Grindr, there would be no single person epidemic and we'd have overpopulation.
Swiping is insanely inefficient. SHOW ALL THE MATCHES AS A GRID so we can choose instantly from ALL the options!
Imagine going to a restaurant and you only get to look at the menu one, dish, at, a time, and if you say no, that dish is gone and you're stuck with whatever the menu shows you next...no one would be eating there. NO, you open the menu, here's the 50 choices we have in total, point to the ones you like or want. That makes sense.
If the goal is matching people, swiping makes zero sense. A grid does. You like any of these 50, no, ok here's 50 more. Don't like those, ok move locations, try again later. Done. Don't sit and swipe for hours, that's a sales job.

That's exactly how I quit smoking and got others to as well: Think of ALL the work you have to do to do that behavior, now be lazy and just don't do that. Oh you're out of cigarettes, now you have to go to the store, stand in line, walk, pay money, come home, open that shit, light up, go outside, ash, empty the ashes, collect and dispose of the butts, have lighters all the time, just don't do all that shit, it's a LOT of work. Be lazy, improve your health.

Lol, flood insurance is ran by the federal government, you know what they do with it, they use it as a STICK, you WILL do this, you will NOT do that, you will buy this, oh you didn't meet our demands, No coverage for you, AND we're canceling your entire regions coverage due to you as well, it's happening locally where I live.
Well just go somewhere else, YOU CAN'T, once you have government insurance they ban competition FOR CONTROL of you. And if they pull your federal flood insurance, the city BY LAW has to condemn your property and cannot under state law give you a building or occupancy permit...The fedgov just nuked your property, it's uninsurable and uninhabitable.
It's why near major waterways is often a ghetto, no one is dumb enough to buy that useless property.

Exactly, the spirit should be more like "If they offer you food, it's a bribe, you don't want or need THEIR charity, tell them to F off". Maybe it's just me, but that 'spirit of defiance' doesn't just turn on and off like that lol. Your enemy knocks you down and offers you help up you slap it away. Why else are you protesting?
Because they're not protesting to stop something or take something away from their oppressor, they're protesting to GAIN something for themselves.
An analogy would be in the US civil rights movement, a white man seeing a white cop beating a black man with a baton and jumping in and grabbing the baton to stop it, vs that same man standing to the side and telling the black man how to stop resisting and they'll stop, you're making your people look bad, while they record it with their face in the foreground.

The left has just never been able to understand a simple truth, hating Trump drives people to him. The more they hate on him, the more sympathetic it makes him look.
Morgan Freeman had the answer when he said the cure for racism was to stop endlessly talking about racism. If the left et al had decided "Eh, we're going to ignore Trump and play with a different toy" it probably would have ended there.
But no, they said, split those 10s, hit me, oh, I have 20 on both, HIT ME AGAIN, and again, and again, I know we're playing 21 and I have 60 but more cards now! It's time to stop, left. Get some help.
BUT NO, deal the whole rest of the table in, max bet and HIT ME! Constitutional Crisis, Doge, Elon, BigBalls, more more more! The media is like a pitbull and we're trying to pull the Trump rope out of their mouth.

I live in Missouri in the St Louis area, and most of us knew that info leak would happen from the start, because they asked them to snitch to an OFFICIAL Police reporting system, so just like filing a police report, calling 911, or suing someone, it was a PUBLIC RECORD by default. You were not required to use your name, but tons of idiots DID.
If you want to be anonymous, you could be, but you snitch on yourself when your report is "Hey, this is [Your Name] and I'd like to be anonymous, my address is...", like, duh.
It's like calling 911 from your home phone landline, telling them your name, and giving an anonymous tip...FUN FACT 911 calls are also public record you can just file a form and get copies of!

It's so exclusive, to get in you have to pay them lol.
It reminds me of South Park talking about celebrities, it's super easy, you don't even have to be anyone or know anyone, they go where you want if you just pay them.
Want [insert celebrity] at your event, write the check and they're there, willingly or not lol. It's their JOB.
If the event was actually exclusive they'd turn down your attempts to buy your way in, nope, you need to have done this and or that and know someone and get a referral and references and vetting, THEN we'll let you in to the exclusive event, IF you get an invitation. If just any loser with cash can get in that's boring.

My dad has expressed this kind of thinking and it always surprises me, I mentioned something about an investment, I can't even remember what it was, but it was somewhat greed-based, and I remember him replying "That makes no sense, if you already HAVE millions or billions of dollars, why would you do that thing to make more money you don't need?"
And I'm like, DUH, what is the one thing people with billions on dollars can't buy but want more than anything, GETTING MORE BILLIONS OF DOLLARS.
If you're someone who can be satisfied with what you've accomplished and not be greedy, you have trouble understanding people who ARE greedy.
It's like a man I know, just went through his FOURTH divorce, and was dating TWO NEW WOMEN while his divorce was finalizing, and he's asking me why I'm his age and single....like, bro, duh, look at the insanity and stress you're going through, I want none of that, and besides, you're out here ruining women 6 at a time, there's nothing LEFT. I'd be happy with one wife for life, you're working on wives 5 and 6...

As a kid in the 80s, my school teachers thought I had ADD, and booted me from school until a doctor diagnosed me and put me on ritalin...So my parents took me to my GP, a great doctor who ended up being my doctor my first 35 years alive.
He saw me, examined me, did some tests, and returned me with a clean bill of health, no drugs, and an admonishment to the female teachers "He doesn't have ADD, HE'S A 6 YEAR OLD BOY, he's going to do 6 year old boy things, YOU are an adult, do your JOB and control him".
If that had been today I'd have been put on 3 drugs, therapy, and probably been transitioned. Thank god I had a based doctor.

My federal income taxes aren't that bad, it's the massive state, local, and city taxes I pay that dwarf what the US fedgov takes.
I have zero kids, why does NINETY PERCENT of my massive property taxes go to my school district, and EVERYTHING else, roads, police, fire, everything lives on the left over 10%?
Why does my neighbor with FIVE kids pay the SAME school tax rate I do, while consuming 500% more resources?

And that's why they're SO worried, as this last election showed, they're losing their positioning as the trusted middleman. I don't need a news channel to report on what someone said, to parse it, to tell me what they really said, how to interpret it, I can just watch this person speak directly, for HOURS on end, and make my own judgement.
I was skeptical of JD Vance, and if I'd just watched the MSM, even complementary outlets, I'd have probably opposed him, but then I watched him converse on Rogan for three hours with no censorship, no agenda, no soundbites, and I really related to him.
It's like the difference between reading a dating app profile and going on an actual date lol.

High School, Junior year, everyone was in AWE this senior guy who was pretty damn cool was dating an elementary school teacher. She was an ADULT, she was like 24 lol. He was 18. Age of consent is 17 in our state.
School admin couldn't do anything about it because she wasn't one of his teachers.
THEN I went to college, got a student job, and had to take an all day course on the ethics of dating your students lol, full of scenarios like "Person A is an undergrad student in the College or Arts and Sciences, and they're dating Dr So and So in the College of Business, is this ethical?" As long as they're not in a position of power, the answer is yes, as long as everyone is adults and there's no power dynamic, date whoever you want was the guidance.

it's why I took my current job in water treatment, and got the highest certs and education available in the US. I've gained the kind of skills that will get me on the ARK at the end of the world. Do you need that attorney, do you need that actor, no, you need people who can create water and food, and doctors to keep people alive. ACTUAL skills suddenly become infinitely valuable. I have absolute confidence in my ability to make any available water safe to drink, because I already do it every day for thousands of people, Mississippi River water is about the worse source to pull from, and we make it happen. You can live just fine without lawyers and politicians and business execs and even teachers, but you won't even make it three days without SAFE water. You'll get thirsty and drink some random liquid and go Oregon Trail, you have died of dysentery.
Here's a free lesson: Turbidity, the measure of dirt and sediment present in water affecting it's clarity. The more turbidity, the more places pathogens have to reside and sicken you regardless of disinfection. EPA standard max turbidity for drinking water is 0.3 NTU (nephelometric turbidity units). The human eye, the BEST human eye, is only capable of seeing turbidity at 4.0 NTU and above. Anything under 4NTU looks clear and clean and drinkable. It's not. I could put a lineup of samples in front of you, one actually drinkable, all others not, and you could not tell the difference, nor could I. NO surface water safe, ANY of it, without treatment.
And none of this even touches on the other half of water, WASTEWATER, what do you do with and how do your treat your shit? I'm licensed in that too. You can't really do one without the other. This is centuries of knowledge we could lose in an instant in a solar flare.

You think that until YOU are that boss with no tesla and no villa, with the people under you calling you a fat cat while you also try to just get by.
I work for government, no big boss with a salary, no profit sharing, no PROFITS, everyone paid the same, pretty terrible to be honest, MEANWHILE citizens making more money than I do call me a fatcat lazy leech. Why do that?
In the private sector it's double the money and half the responsibility, I'm thinking of jumping ship and saying F the citizens, they can fend for themselves, I'm going to get paid.

The whole point of Captain America was to embody an aspirational ideal of America as a place/people of honor, dignity, integrity, trust, and dependability. He's the Boy Scout that's literally BETTER THAN YOU, that you should look up to and want to emulate.
This is all part of what Adam Carolla talked about growing up, his dad pointing to the wealthy man in town driving a nice car and said "see that, if you work hard and do the right thing, you have the opportunity to be like him", and somewhere that turned into "Hey, see that rich d-bag driving that nice car, put a rock through his window because f him".

As someone who works with FEMA in my job, really the ONLY thing they can do in an emergency is RAIN MONEY. Oh you have flooding, keep your receipts of what YOU spend to deal with it, we'll make you whole on the back end, 18 months from now once the forms are approved.
Fema is NOT showing up to fill sandbags. FEMA is not giving your flooded neighbor a spare room, or opening a shelter and manning it, nope, local charities do that and get funded by Fema, eventually. Often it's local organizations and individuals who just DO IT, because if you wait for the feds you may be waiting a while.
My Mississippi River town flooded in 2019 and we're STILL waiting on Fema and National flood insurance program reimbursements/funding. We're just now spending MONEY FROM COVID, in 2025!

12:00 here's how that would REALLY hurt people, your local government and state workers don't make $17/hr for the most part, and if min-wage went up to that, then you'd have to pay them MORE, WAY more than that min wage, and where can that money only come from? MORE TAXES, because local and state gov can't print money, they have to take it from YOU.
So your water bill TRIPLES, your sewer bill triples, your electricity bill quadruples, your streets cost way more, your fees and licenses for dog and cat licenses go up, YOU GET LESS COPS and they have to write MORE TICKETS to make up that massive new cost difference just to break even at the service level they already provide, and no way you'd get quality workers at that low a wage, they could make more somewhere else.
As it is I know gov workers with a decade in service, with skills thousands of citizens count on every day for public health, that earn as much as a cashier at Target, because government wages via taxation can't rise as easily with inflation.

I got over my food addiction the same way I quit smoking two packs a day: laziness.
I'm a non-smoker, so why would I go to all the WORK to smoke? You have to go to the store, buy them, have money to do that, get home, open that shit, lighters, working lighters, ashtrays, go outside in the cold, that's a lot of work and I'm too lazy for that, so I just won't anymore.
Pizza and bagels, ugh, that's a lot more work, I'm already full on straight keto protein and fat, i'd have to struggle to eat that bad stuff, so I won't.
Have the mindset of why would I do all that work? Easier to just do the bare minimum.

@faizalf119 Yep, I was late 30s when Pewdiepie got into Minecraft, and that pulled me into it.
But once I slayed the Ender Dragon a few times, got all the stuff, did all the things, meh, I got busy and had to move on. Once I was farming tons of iron a day and going to bed and waking up to my infinite fishing rod glitch with a hundred chests full of loot, once I had sooooo much shit there was literally nothing to do with it all thus making everything sort of worthless, it was like what's the point, lol? Why add yet another story to this self-harvesting farm? Do I really need 10,000 more beets and carrots to feed 500 more pigs and cows?

The biggest advantage of the digital signage menu boards is ANIMATION. I think it's McDonald's menu boards inside that are always scrolling to different specials, stuff is swooping on screen, different choices are presenting, everything is grabbing your attention, I remember specifically looking at one and something went by too fast so I was waiting to see it again, and I realized whoa this is like a damn internet ad. It triggers that "Did I miss out on something, I have to see that again" feeling, despite already knowing EXACTLY what I wanted.
And yes most of the drive thrus around me DO flash up the order in front of you before they take your order, so it's almost like social proof, the guy in front of me got 26 sliders, maybe I should too...

Last 5K event I competed in, my time was 30 minutes. Average. I finished 3rd place overall, 3rd men's division. I was 40.
The first place woman was a 17 year old high school track athlete, her time was 43 minutes.
The fastest woman finished after every man.
To contrast all of that, when we finished the race, one of the staff's friends, a male college track athlete, started running the course.
His time was 17 minutes, he actually passed some of the women who started half an hour after he did.
The physical differences are quite striking.
Who was first place in the entire race, beating everyone, with a time of 29:50?
An 11 year old boy.

"how is he so good at defending himself?"
Because he's a good attorney that, critically in my opinion, spent the first 7 years of his legal career as a DEFENSE attorney before becoming a federal government attorney.
A big problem we have in our government is we have tons of attorneys that have never defended a client FROM the government trying to put them in a cage.
It's a mindset that has to be developed. It's a huge issue SCOTUS has, 9 of the best legal minds in the US, ZERO defense attorneys, EVERY Justice is a former PROSECUTOR, and when all you've ever done is prosecute, every problem looks like it needs to be prosecuted, whereas a defense attorney spends their time finding holes in the schemes government is trying to pull, not thinking of said schemes. The prosecution fails their case, meh, looks bad on my record. A defense attorney fails their case, a real actual human being they've gotten to know and probably care about has their life destroyed.

@rayzala1393 Brah, under biden we had quarter million job loss reports all the time, they release the report, OH LOOK only 50k jobs lost, a month later, OH LOOK we had to revise that lost months jobs report, it was actually 250k, but wait look over here, new interest rates, new FOMC, new new new don't look at those old numbers, as jobs evaporate by the millions.
Can we get a 10,000% tariff on foreigner's youtube comments, that's a taxable intellectual property import, you owe some duties.

It's the opposite though, coupling is a life hack. Ideally you double your help and income while cutting your work and expenses in half.
You go from I have a house and she has a house, to WE have a house which is the SAME AMOUNT OF WORK as living alone, but now there are two people to do it. If you have two incomes you now also have double the resources. See how huge an advantage that can be?
Think if it like a business analogy, Company A merges with Company X, each had about the same revenues, same market share, same employees, same assets and buildings, but now as ONE company, f all this redundancy, fire 1/3 of the staff, sell half the buildings we don't need, combine our revs and market share, BOOM, we just took over the entire market AND cut our overhead massively, bigger AND leaner, shareholders are ecstatic.
Imagine if Walmart and Amazon stopped competing and MERGED. They'd be ultra-unstoppable. Amazons web dominance fueling Walmarts massive global physical store and unparalleled logistics apparatus, they'd be bigger than the Us government.

DARE is a great example. Neither me or any of my friends knew anything about drugs until we went through the dare program, and what happens when you expose 5th graders to some forbidden thing and tell them not to do it, well hell, now I want to try that! They even passed around weed for us to smell so we'd allegedly know how to identify it and avoid it. LOL. Thanks for teaching us how to FIND it. Our DARE program had to stop giving out their prize for finishing the program because it was a mirror with the dare logo and adults pointed out it would be perfect for doing cocaine from.
Hey, don't ever, ever do this, don't ever go to this place and see these people and get this thing, no, it's bad, don't do it, reminder they're only open during these hours, so never go there, never talk to so-and-so lol.

I used to feel the same way about fitness, it's just for meatheads, I'm an intellectual, lol. I was over 300lbs, my youngest sister is a MD now, she got her degrees in Biochemistry and Sports Medicine, certified trainer in several different orgs, went to college on a full ride softball scholarship, then her residency in rheumatology, and I've been her research project for a few years now. I went from 307lbs to 170 now in two years. I run 10ks in an hour. I Dl 315 for reps. I turned my life around with science. I myself have degrees in chemistry and math, and my other middle sister is an actuary that was also a softball star athlete, once they showed me it's all just chemistry and math, fitness became pretty simple. Follow the numbers, do the work, see results.

Asmon has been open about his dental issues, none of those are his teeth, that's all restoration work.
I have similar problems, and I just KNOW that's what'll happen, I'll spend a ton of money getting my smile fixed, and then I'll get a ton of compliments on my smile, and they'll HURT, because....
You're complimenting me on the MOST FAKE part of me, overlooking the real rest of me. Crazy right?
I've lost a ton of weight and I still see myself as fat, so when I get compliments they're almost insults, because I don't believe them, why is this person MOCKING me lol?
1
-
What Asmond talks about, a slow responding situation you get to see go wrong in real time and can't do anything about it, is my daily life in my job, running a water plant. Something can go wrong, especially by mistake, instantly, and by the time you notice or catch it, the damage is already done and you have to wait HOURS for the correction to come around, and that whole time you're sweating. It's just better to not make mistakes in the first place.
It's a terrible feeling to know "Yeah, this was a quick and easy fix, if we'd seen the problem 2 hours ago...now it's going to take 8 hours to fix."

We had the reverse issue with my Dad, 80 at the time, he was incapacitated, in a hospital outside his normal care team, and it took DAYS to get his medical records released to the doctors treating him, in the end I had to lie to his regular doctors, get an unofficial copy of his records by impersonating him, then provide them to the doctors caring for him. Without his consent the VA would not release his records. How can you consent when you're unconscious? Then the issue was the other hospital didn't want to accept his 'paper' records, it had to be electronic. Eventually, after a WEEK they sent his full electronic records to his doctors, but anything could have happened in that time.
The didn't even have any info of what prescriptions he was on other than the list I had of what he took, being without some of those alone could have killed him.

Following GPS has gotten me lost FAR more than following my own sense of direction or even intuition. No joke, it never failed a decade ago, I'm taking an unscheduled stop here, ok lets go, wait, why is the GPS telling me to take an entirely different route, recalculating, take this turn instead and travel the next 3 hours...this was a 2 hour drive on the interstate, why are we on f-ing GRAVEL now, oh well it knows better than me, right?
Google maps now will default to taking you on the GREENEST route, not the most efficient or fastest route.

4:56 that seemed so transparently fake, "we have all these great guests OH LOOK it's a Princess, thank you for coming my good friend Princess, you're so great see you at dinner next week! See, tons of famous people here..."
For all we and she knows that was a grift, that was an actress hired to appear at that time to sell the bit, I put nothing past these people. It's like being on a date and trying to impress a woman so you have your friend 'happen by' your table and gush and talk you up about how great you are and how everyone loves you, by happenstance. Or wearing a fake wedding ring to attract women, it's so performative-seeming and scripted. Like in a magic show when the magician needs a 'random volunteer' from the audience, of course they choose their own planted shill.
Social Proof is a POWERFUL social engineering tool. People see you being approved by other people, they'll convince themselves to approve of you despite their intuition screaming otherwise.

once you say it three or more times, or say it times three, thrice, not once, twice but THREE times, its becomes true in your mind, but only if you say it three or more times. You knew that, right, I think you knew that, they told me YOU, you're smart enough to know that.
