Like Silicon Valley, we moved the pool away from the mansion because we thought it was too close, but turns out the pool was designed properly and was right where it was supposed to be, so we paid to move it back next to the house...

It is INSANE to me, and I see it ALL the time, you earned $50 million dollars, yet you have a mortgage on your $2 million dollar house...if you have the cash on hand being in debt losing money makes zero sense. Owning your home outright is an amazing sense of security, I know if I lose my job, something terrible happens, whatever, as long as I can come up with $1000/year in property taxes to appease my county, I'll never worry about being homeless. Even if I lose everything, I'll be destitute CHILLIN IN MY HOUSE lol.

If you have $1 million in cash, you can make one stock trade that will pay you $80k/year in dividends with no effort. Once you're rich it should be very difficult to become un-rich. That's why these things seem crazy to me. If you can't make it on $80k a year with no effort, there's systemic problems with your life. I'm always amazed to see someone you know made tens of millions lose their $1 million dollar home, like HOW? Buy that shit outright. Plan ahead. It's way better to be broke in a $1 million dollar house you own than be balling out of control in a $20 million rental mansion.

There's no safety from predatory 304s lol.

If I had 50 Cent's money, I'd expect to be EARNING $100k a month in rental INCOME from all the properties I'd bought outright with cash and rented to tenants.
