I live in Missouri in the St Louis area, and most of us knew that info leak would happen from the start, because they asked them to snitch to an OFFICIAL Police reporting system, so just like filing a police report, calling 911, or suing someone, it was a PUBLIC RECORD by default. You were not required to use your name, but tons of idiots DID. If you want to be anonymous, you could be, but you snitch on yourself when your report is "Hey, this is [Your Name] and I'd like to be anonymous, my address is...", like, duh. It's like calling 911 from your home phone landline, telling them your name, and giving an anonymous tip...FUN FACT 911 calls are also public record you can just file a form and get copies of!
