  1.  @Ambusher1st  an example of doing that somewhat right was, in all places, the Agents of Shield TV show. The Asgardian warrior left on Earth from the long past that decided to live as a human and blend in as a meek nobody...but when they outed him he snapped his police handcuffs off like they were tissue paper, and Coulson or Ward try to stab him, only for him to grab the knife blade with his bare hand, squeeze, and you see the steel of the knife extrude out between his fingers like you or I squeezed cream cheese, it was a fast and subtle way of showing even this nobody, semi-aged, foot soldier former-Berserker Asgardian was orders of magnitude stronger than any human.

Regarding Loki, I always remember something old YouTube movie critic Spoony said, "Why would anyone ever trust Loki, HE'S THE GOD OF DECEIT!", he would shout in anguish when someone was blatantly fooled. And he's right. Fool me once, shame on you, Loki fools seemingly smart people to their face a million times...
