@TheRealBina it's because society has conditioned men that you need to be friends before you're romantic or sexual. Meanwhile women are told it's fine to bang the dude you just met 10 min ago in the bar bathroom and that's empowered.

@popejaimie if you make real actual friends with women, which is a lot of time and effort to invest, it would only be to sleep with them, and most men would agree if honest. It's all the girlfriend work and labor and time without the benefits. If you think it's not a problem, tell your wife or gf you have to skip plans to help a female friend and watch her go ballistic, because SHE knows what you have another woman to spend time with FOR

@sj3969 yes, that is trading on your sexuality, 100%. There's absolutely women who could ask me to do something and I probably would, that if A man asked me I'd say do it yourself, you're a man, adult. Of course this is 2023, so also a lot women ask me I'd say "You're stunning and brave, you don't need no man, do it yourself, you're capable, I believe in you".

It's why a woman has a spreadsheet and an Access database of criteria and specifications, whereas most men are like "She needs to be not fat, shorter than me, thin, athletic, like me, not be a bitch, and best case all that plus no tattoos or face metal". Outside of that, she can be a high school dropout with no drivers license working for minimum wage, that's no big deal. I can drive, I can teach her to drive, she can get schooling, on and on. Men love taking on a project IF there's potential and opportunity there. But if she's got a degree, super successful, but jaded, hateful, tatted up and pincushioned, she can be hot as hell and zero attraction.

True, but not easy to do when getting to know someone is looking at their top photo for 1 second and swiping. On Tinder I haven't looked at a profile in years, I swipe literally 3-5 a SECOND, thousands of profiles a day, swipe right. Out of that I get maybe a match a week, and they're all fat old chicks wanting a green card marriage.

"I want someone kind, and honest..." Ok but those are often absolutely mutually exclusive. I can't be nice without lying and I can't be honest without telling the truth and no one wants to hear that. People don't want to be lied to, but they REALLY don't want to be told the truth.

@sj3969 the sole reason to have female friends is to get with them. It's why you'll notice men who are successful with women have zero female friends, while guys frustrated have a bunch of female friends they'll never bang, but exploit for male attention without risk. Yes, every man, every single one not related to you, has a non-zero desire to be with you, because you're a woman. They don't even need to be cognizant of that drive, it's there. There's always a CHANCE, every guy thinks. If it costs nothing to keep her as a friend, maybe it develops into something romantic? But if she's EXPLICITLY said that's off the table, you'll see a LARGE percentage of men will disappear after that. Men have lots of male friends, why, because they're not trying to bang them, so actual friendship is possible, no underlying subtext or desires. Don't yor elders teach you kids this stuff anymore?

@sj3969 for the vast majority of men, straight up, if you're being nice to us as a women, even if it's just being friendly, we have to take that as a sign of interest because the stakes are so high and men get ZERO attention. Women don't realize, a man might have not gotten a random compliment for DECADES, unlike how women get them all the time. The one time it happened to me in 40 years it wasn't even a woman, it was a gay man lol. Men get so little positive attention from women today, if you show even the smallest nicety we'll jump on it and be very appreciative, and it feels like a come on. Like you have to want something, because why else be nice to a man these days? That's what's going through OUR head.
