He simply told her, like a small child or politician, to answer the question that is asked.
LIKE A WOMAN, she felt the need MANY times to answer the question she wanted to be asked.
If I ask you "Guy, did you leave the youtube comment I'm replying to?"
You'd answer in either the affirmative or negative, right? It's a yes/no question. I didn't ask WHY you left the comment, I didn't ask you to elaborate on your presented thoughts, I didn't even ask if someone impersonated you in leaving this comment in your name. It's pretty easy.
Your responses on the stand should be no different than how you'd talk to a cop at a traffic stop: answer what's asked, keep answers factual and short. don't volunteer unasked for info, yes or no to yes no questions, and don't talk yourself into things.

@sillyvoicedarling1740 "she was asked if others around were distressed"
Which is a simple yes or no question. She was not asked WHY or HOW or for any elaboration.
Were they distressed?
Yes.
The next question would have probably been can you tell us why you felt they were distressed, but she ruined that.
She's not there to try the case, she's not there to attempt to interpret the line of questioning.
She did this several times, in one case she discredited herself by downgrading her experience, another she questioned the entire response time, evidence already irrefutably in the record and provided by the PROSECUTION, and corroborated by radio calls, dispatch recordings, logs, cameras, and even witness video.
She's going to let her emotion sink the case all in the name of her idea of justice.
OH WELL>
