I have this terrible feeling that 1000 years from now people will look back at us and laugh at our thinking on climate change, the same way we look back and laugh at the established science of a millenia ago, that the universe revolved around the Earth. Geocentrism and climate change have quite a bit in common thematically, including the Inquisition you face in their contemporary times for denying or opposing either.

  2. Glaciers and ice caps are melting...GOOD, that means we're almost to the end of the last ice age! We're finally entering a warm period, where the world is probably supposed to be. The Earth is not warming, we've just been cold the last few hundred thousand years. Warmer is way better for humans. Farmland expands, longer growing seasons, more carrying capacity, food abundance. The melting of the ice gives us access to the 99% of fresh water that mankind has NEVER been able to use, frozen uselessly at the poles. Reversing warming only has one outcome: fucking humans entirely. We're fine in the warm, we're useless in the cold.
