  1. Torture is bad, we should probably just go back to summarily executing anyone captured by gunshot against a wall on site like we used to. Lord forbid they're detained for a few years and questioned without physical injury at immense taxpayer expense.

  2. The point Joe misses about 'it's not realistic because you know you'll be ok' is that if you are being questioned, it means they NEED you healthy and uninjured as possible. If they wanted to kill or dismember you, without gaining any information, they'd probably just do it.
