  2. My current youtube diet is a testament to the Streisand Effect being settled fact. I'd never watched PewDiePie before, and I've been watching youtube since before there were ads, way back in the internet dark ages of 2005-ish time. But after the media went after him SO hard for whatever controversy of the week a few times ago, it made me go "I have to go watch his videos to see what the damn press is so on about. I don't trust them". Turns out I was right, the press are idiots and Pewds did nothing wrong, other than gaining a deplorable like me as a sub and daily viewer. That led me to going 'Who is this mark pliers person? Maybe I should look at their videos, too....and why is this other channel about a rotting eye? And before you know it I'm watching basically everyone I've seen Charlie play with the last week lol.
