If 100,000 people hate comment or death threat you, congrats, you have 0.00001% of users as haters lol. I'd wager that real celebrities don't even count until they get over a million+ a day. Haters are also an excellent gauge of engagement, it's like Capt Jack Sparrow, "You're the worst pirate I've ever heard of!" "But you HAVE heard of me", the marketing is working.

This is just like the cool kid in class with 8 million clique members going out of his way to point at your shoes and say "Ha, those are gay!", and then before you know it a few million of those clique members are all calling your shoes gay to fit in and be part of the group. They're called followers and/or subscribers and/or influencers for a reason, they follow what you do, they subscribe to the values you express, and you influence what the mob does. It's all the business.
